Quick Facts
- Where: Jalan Sarang Burung, Nusa Ceningan, on the island's western shore above the Mahana Point surf break, with direct access to Secret Beach
- Entry: Free. Walk-ins welcome, minimum spend applies to daybeds and sunbeds. No proper online booking system, so arrive early for the good seats

- Getting there: Fast boat from Sanur to Nusa Lembongan, then across the yellow suspension bridge to Ceningan by scooter. This is not a day-trip club from the mainland; it's the reward for basing yourself on the islands
- Swimming: In the pool, yes. In the ocean off this stretch, no. The currents around Ceningan are genuinely dangerous and people have drowned here. Watch the surfers, swim in the pool
The Vibe
Thatched bamboo roofs, natural timber and stone, a terraced layout that steps down from an elevated dining deck to a swim-up pool and then to three sand-filled levels of daybeds under palms. It faces dead west over rock pools and rolling swell, with the white sand of Secret Beach right there. It's small, it's friendly, and it has none of the mainland's velvet rope energy. This is what beach clubs on the big island are pretending to be.
The Shot
Sunset behind the Mahana Point lineup. Surfers silhouetted on a peeling left as the sun drops straight into the sea is the frame, and the elevated terraces give you the angle without leaving your seat. A 70-200mm pulls the surfers in tight; a wide from the sand levels gets the whole terraced venue glowing gold. Secret Beach and the rock pools below are a separate session at low tide.
What Recent Visitors Say
Small review pool, big love. The staff get called out by name for warmth, and the food earns the kind of specific praise that's rare for beach clubs: the local chicken, the grilled fish and the prawn linguine all get singled out as trip highlights. Surfers rate it as the perfect between-sessions base, with board racks, fresh water showers and loungers right above the break. The only real operational gripe is the lack of a proper reservation system, which means turning up early rather than booking ahead.
Verdict
Fourth, and the wildcard pick that earns its place on pure experience quality. It loses points only on access: you can't do it on a whim from the mainland, and that's exactly why it still feels the way it does.

Nusa Lembongan and Ceningan pack, where it's the anchor beach club recommendation. Also a natural extension for the Sanur pack, since Sanur is your fast boat port. Pair it with the Blue Lagoon and the Ceningan cliffs, both minutes away.

Full disclosure first: I held a monthly DJ residency at Suku, so I know this place from behind the decks as well as from a daybed. That's also why I can tell you the vibe isn't an accident. Watching the surfers pick off waves at Mahana Point while the sun drops behind them is one of the most magic scenes in the whole Bali chain, and the food coming out of that kitchen is genuinely some of the best beach club cooking I've had anywhere on the islands. Secret Beach access seals it.
