Bali arrival admin now happens across three separate official systems. None is difficult on its own; the risk is landing on a paid lookalike, using the wrong visa category or leaving everything until the airport Wi-Fi becomes part of the plan.
1. Indonesian Immigration eVisa
Use evisa.imigrasi.go.id to check visa options, apply for an eligible electronic visa on arrival and manage eligible extensions. The domain must end in imigrasi.go.id. Search adverts and private agencies can look official while charging an additional service fee.
Use a desktop if the mobile form becomes temperamental. Allow time for problems rather than treating the published minimum as a target. Your passport validity, nationality, purpose of travel and intended length of stay determine the correct route; a popular visa is not automatically the right visa.
2. All Indonesia arrival declaration
The national arrival declaration is completed through the official All Indonesia portal. It combines passenger, journey, accommodation and declaration details for arrivals. Complete it within the official submission window before travel and keep the resulting confirmation available offline.
Use the address of your first accommodation, not a vague region name. If your airline or government guidance gives a different timing instruction, follow the current official instruction rather than an old travel blog.
3. Love Bali tourism levy
International visitors subject to Bali's tourism levy can pay the IDR 150,000 charge through lovebali.baliprov.go.id. Save the voucher or QR code to your phone after payment. The levy is separate from your visa and is administered by the Bali Provincial Government.
The two-minute scam check
- Type or bookmark the government domain rather than trusting the first sponsored result.
- Do not send passport scans through WhatsApp to an unknown “agent”.
- Check the full domain before entering card details.
- Keep PDF or screenshot copies offline in case mobile service fails.
- Recheck requirements shortly before departure; immigration systems change.
